Social Break exists to give you your time back, not to collect it. This page says what we keep and what never leaves your devices. The full Privacy Policy has every detail.
Only the time spent on the apps you add to your list, like this:
Instagram · 42 min · Tuesday
The time in your other apps is worked out on your phone, shown only to you, and never sent.
Usage access lets Social Break read how long apps are open, so it can count the minutes on the apps you add.
App limits is an accessibility service with one job: noticing which app comes to the front, so Social Break can show its screen when you open an app you limited. It takes only the name of that app, and reads nothing on your screen.
Android shows its own warning before you allow either one. That's normal for any app that asks for them, and you can switch them off at any time in your phone's settings.
Your account, the apps on your list and their limits, your usage minutes, and what you plan in Social Break: goals, habits and day notes. Day notes are encrypted.
There are no ads and no advertising trackers, and your data is never sold or rented. It's handled only by the companies that run Social Break for us, like hosting and email, and each one is named in the full policy.
Deleting your account removes it and everything tied to it, at once. How to delete your account
